Happy Gift from our blog furriend

Thank you all our blog furriends for warm comments on Ku-suke's Birthday!!
We really appreciate it. Love you all!!

When my Mom started blogging, she didn't know anything about blogging,(I think she still doesn't understand too many things...)
But she had to do,because she was looking for forever homes for us 2(Teko and Jean).
Mon-san,our very loving blog furriends helped us from the beggining,
linked us and kept encouraging my Mom.
And today, she sent Ku-suke a very happy gift!!
Here it is!!

LOVELY DSB with her 2 ADORABLE kitties Kurumi and Kaede.

DSB credits:Shabby Princess

How happy we are!!!
siawase kurukuru measn Happiness is coming.
takusan kurukuru means LOTS of Happiness is coming.
Ku-suke is delighted there are 2 cute girl kitties with us!!
Now we are 5 Amigos!!

Last night we went "night cherry blossom viewing" and I think this was the last chance of this year.

We could enjoy the full bloom, but soon the greens will cover the tree.
The green and Pink looks beautiful together!

We saw a wonderful book at our favorite book store, cowbooks.

(bonus gift,a black cat!)

Publisher's Note
A brief survey of attitudes toward the cat since ancient times introduces nearly on hundred reproductions of paintings, etchings, and drawings depicting artists' impressions of the feline in all of its moods.

Tekorin comments:
"This is a gooood meow book!!Lots of kitty pictures!
Fun Fun Fun!
I feel dizzy with the books filled with letters, but this book fascinates me!
I don't know the names of the painters, but really enjoyable"

Let me introduce some pics from the book.

Henri Rousseau

George Herriman

Tomi Ungerer

The right page:Ronald Searle
The left big one:Ralph Steadman

Now a question for you

Guess who's drawing the small cats are?

Hint 1: not a painter or an illustrator
Hint 2: musician(already gone)
Hint 3: His wife is a Japanese
Hint 4: just imagine

YOU ARE RIGHT.

It's John Lennon's.

Last but not Least,,,
Look this back cover!

It is ANDREW WYETH.
Oh we love him....
R.I.P.

Have a great weekend!!

Thank you for sharing your cherry blossoms, the photograhs are excellent. Now we wish that we had gone at night as well, though taking the train at night in Washington DC is not advisable.
We liked looking at your book too. 5 Tekos is the highest I have ever seen you rate. So it must be very nice.
Have a great day my 3 Neko friends.

Mom and Dad went the the Azaela Gardens today for a tour...they are in full bloom right now.
We'll post about them later. We are so glad your mom started blogging and that she commented on our blog so that we could find you.

  6. We were in Tokyo two years ago to visit our friend and we saw the cherry blossom - it was truly magnificent. In England the gardens are full of spring bulbs like daffodils and hyacinth - good for cats to dig up and chase.

  7. Oh, I love the sakura! So pretty! I was lucky enough to see them blooming five years ago, when I visited my relatives in Japan.

    Have a happy day. :)
